Mr. Fekete is the Chief Operating Officer, Senior Operating Executive, and the Commercial Strategy & Diligence Practice Leader for Cerberus Operations, the Firm’s operations platform.
In his role, Mr. Fekete leads strategic initiatives to expand and scale the capabilities of the operations platform across its five core practice areas: Commercial Strategy & Diligence, Finance, Product Design-to-Delivery, Human Capital, and Technology Solutions.
Mr. Fekete also works closely with the Firm’s investment professionals to develop thematic sector strategies and investment theses that weigh market attractiveness and opportunities with an unbiased view. He oversees the overall diligence processes that assess a target company’s full potential and then following closing, his teams support initiatives around corporate strategy, value creation, growth, and accelerated competitiveness within portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Cerberus in 2018, Mr. Fekete worked in KPMG’s Deal Advisory Strategy Mergers & Acquisitions practice, where he advised Fortune 500 corporations and global private equity firms on financial, valuation, commercial, operational, and value creation matters. Mr. Fekete began his career at Accenture advising clients on merging and restructuring businesses to materialize operational efficiencies and synergies.
He serves on the Board of Directors of Lighthouse Autism Center, a Cerberus portfolio company.
Mr. Fekete graduated from the Vienna University of Economics and Business with a Master of Social and Economic Sciences and received a Master in Business Administration in Finance and Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
