Community: Cerberus and Make-A-Wish Expand Long-term Partnership

We’re expanding our long-term partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation through a dedicated sponsorship that will impact new communities. By providing resources for full-time Spanish-speaking bilingual support, Make-A-Wish chapters nationwide may now advance the Wishes of over 1,000 Spanish-speaking families.

Since 2014, Cerberus and Make-A-Wish’s Metro & Western New York chapter have delivered uplifting, life-changing experiences for children facing critical illnesses. This has included annual employee-led fundraisers, send-off parties for Wish children, college tuition grants, and sponsorships for emergency rush wishes, among other collaborative activities.

Kristen Shanley, Cerberus’ Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, commented:

“We’re proud of the ways in which our partnership with Make-A-Wish has continued to grow each year, including through this latest bilingual support sponsorship. The hope that Make-A-Wish provides to children, families, and communities nationwide every single day has always been a source of great inspiration for us at Cerberus.

Over the course of this longstanding relationship, we’re grateful that many of our team members across all levels of the Firm have had the opportunity to get involved with Make-A-Wish and participate in its impactful work. We look forward to building on our work together for many years to come.”
