Mr. Jacobson is a Managing Director on the U.S. Real Estate team. He is responsible for the origination of Cerberus’ real estate investments in the U.S., including sourcing, underwriting, financing, and executing real estate transactions. He is also directly involved in the asset management of the Firm’s real estate property and portfolio investments. Since joining Cerberus in 2014, Mr. Jacobson has been instrumental in the acquisition of real estate assets through a range of strategies and deal structures.
Prior to Cerberus, Mr. Jacobson worked at Square Mile Capital Management, where he was responsible for the acquisition and asset management of distressed real estate debt portfolios from financial institutions and financial resolution authorities. From 2007 to 2010, he worked at The Praedium Group, where he was involved in commercial real estate acquisitions, asset management, and portfolio management.
Mr. Jacobson graduated from Emory University and received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
