Mr. Robertson is a Managing Director on the Supply Chain and Strategic Opportunities team, which invests in businesses driving next-generation technologies and capabilities that advance supply chain integrity.
Prior to joining Cerberus, Mr. Robertson was a Managing Director of Tracker Capital, a venture capital-oriented family office that principally invested in emerging technologies. Mr. Robertson had a distinguished 26-year career as a Senior Intelligence Service Officer in the Directorate of Operations of the Central Intelligence Agency (“CIA”) where he served in foreign field and headquarters leadership positions. Mr. Robertsons was also a member of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board and a member of its component Intelligence Oversight Board, independent elements within the Executive Office of the President. He served multiple tours in Africa, Central Eurasia, the Middle East, and in several major cities in the United States. Prior to entering the CIA, Mr. Robertson served for six years as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army to include service in Operations Desert Shield/Storm. He has received numerous commendations, including the Intelligence Commendation Medal, the Directorate of Operations – Donovan Award, the President’s Thomas Jefferson Star for Foreign Service, the State Department’s Secretary’s Award, and the Bronze Star from the U.S. Army.
Mr. Robertson is a distinguished military graduate from Arizona State University.
