Mr. Ruckman joined Cerberus in 2025 and is a Managing Director on the Real Estate Private Credit team. Mr. Ruckman is responsible for management of the group’s capital markets activity and financing relationships, as well as origination of real estate credit investments.
Mr. Ruckman has over 25 years of experience in real estate credit investment. Prior to joining Cerberus, Mr. Ruckman worked at Brookfield Asset Management, where he was responsible for the management of commercial real estate credit capital markets activity. He also worked at Texas Pacific Group, where he was Head of Capital Markets for TPG Real Estate Finance Trust. Earlier in his career, Mr. Ruckman held positions at Deutsche Bank, Gramercy Property Trust, iStar Financial, and Credit Suisse First Boston.
Mr. Ruckman graduated from the University of Chicago and received an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
