John Simon is the Chief Information Security Officer at Cerberus. Mr. Simon leads the Firm’s Enterprise Technology and Security function, overseeing its core technology platform and the teams responsible for networking, cybersecurity, hybrid cloud infrastructure, data warehouse, analytics, and technical support. His responsibilities also encompass disaster recovery, business continuity, e-discovery, technology risk management, and cybersecurity testing processes to ensure robust protection and compliance across the Firm’s assets and personnel. Mr. Simon conducts all technical vendor due diligence and represents the Firm in investor, legal, and regulatory technical diligence audits.
He holds ISACA’s Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) credential and is recognized as a Certified Information Systems Professional (CISP) and a Microsoft Azure certified expert architect, engineer, and administrator.
