Mr. Hoffman is a Managing Director within Cerberus’ corporate credit platform and manages the execution of all trading activity for the group. He also leads the hedging activities across market verticals globally and oversees all secondary market trades for Cerberus Business Finance, the Firm’s middle-market direct lending platform, as well as Cerberus’ real estate and private equity platforms.
Prior to joining Cerberus in 2016, Mr. Hoffman was Director at Morgan Stanley, most recently in New York as a Senior Trader in the North American Distressed and Special Situations Group focusing on liquid and illiquid bank loans, bonds, CDS, private equities, and trade claims. From 2011 to 2014, he was Co-Head of Morgan Stanley’s Asia-Pacific Special Situations Group located in Hong Kong and prior to that was a Senior Desk Analyst in Morgan Stanley’s North American Distressed and Special Situations Group.
