Mr. Sanford is Global Head of Private Equity and oversees Cerberus’ Private Equity platform, which invests in global companies across a variety of industries, market cycles, and structures.
Mr. Sanford serves on various Boards of Cerberus portfolio companies, including Electrical Components International, Navistar Defense, Red River Technology, Source Code, and SubCom. He also has served on the Board of Avon Products, New Avon, DynCorp International, Four Points Media, and YP.
Prior to joining Cerberus in 2006, Mr. Sanford was at Blackstone in its Restructuring and Reorganization Advisory Group, where he advised companies and creditors on a variety of restructuring transactions.
Mr. Sanford graduated with highest distinction from the Schreyer Honors College of the Pennsylvania State University.
