Mr. Sangwan is Head of India and a Managing Director on the Corporate Credit team. He has more than 15 years of experience in credit and special situations investing in the US, Europe, and India across multiple industries and asset classes, including secondary debt, private credit, real assets, and non-performing loans.
Mr. Sangwan joined Cerberus in 2012 and leads Cerberus’ India franchise, overseeing its investment activities as well as the firm’s operations in the region. He has played a key role in building and overseeing Cerberus’ India platform since the establishment of its Mumbai office in 2019.
Prior to Cerberus, Mr. Sangwan was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs in New York. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Business School.
