Mr. Fink is a Managing Director and a senior team member for Cerberus Business Finance, the firm’s middle-market direct lending platform. In his role, Mr. Fink is responsible for new business origination, underwriting, and portfolio management. During his more than 15 years at Cerberus, he has closed financing transactions with more than 150 different borrowers across a variety of industries, including consumer goods and services, automotive, healthcare, business services, media, and technology.
Prior to rejoining Cerberus in 2013, Mr. Fink founded and co-headed CorePointe Capital Finance, a specialty finance company focused on the capital needs of middle-market companies. At CorePointe, he managed a portfolio in excess of $750 million and was on the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to forming CorePointe, Mr. Fink spent over 10 years working for Ableco Finance and Cerberus, serving in a number of different capacities, including origination and portfolio management. Mr. Fink has also held roles at Sumitomo Bank, where he analyzed cash flow-driven leveraged transactions, and Credit Lyonnais Securities, where he most recently served as the Operating Treasurer.
Mr. Fink graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and received an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
