Mr. Pozatek is a Managing Director on the U.S. Real Estate team. He is responsible for the origination of Cerberus’ real estate investments in the United States, including sourcing, underwriting, financing, and closing real estate transactions. He is also directly involved in the asset management of the Firm’s real estate property and portfolio investments.
Prior to Cerberus, Mr. Pozatek was a Vice President at O’Connor Capital Partners, where he was responsible for underwriting real estate principal investments. From 1997 to 2001, he was an Associate at Penske Capital Partners, a transportation-focused private equity firm. Mr. Pozatek also worked at Compass Partners, a boutique investment bank, and started his career in the Investment Banking division at Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Pozatek graduated from Middlebury College and received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
