Mr. Wilamowsky joined Cerberus in 2023 as Deputy General Counsel. In his role, Mr. Wilamowsky serves as the senior legal advisor to the Global Corporate Credit and Distressed Debt strategy. He brings more than 25 years of legal experience working across complex corporate reorganizations, distressed asset transactions, and bankruptcy-related matters.
Throughout his career, Mr. Wilamowsky has served as a partner at several notable law firms, including Willkie Farr & Gallagher, Bingham McCutchen, and most recently, ArentFox Schiff. Mr. Wilamowsky began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Tina L. Brozman, the former chief judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
Mr. Wilamowsky graduated summa cum laude from Brooklyn College and received his J.D. from the New York University School of Law.
