Mr. Hahn is a Managing Director and Senior Operating Executive for Cerberus Operations, the Firm’s operations platform. He joined Cerberus in 2022 and serves as Senior Operating Partner primarily focused on the Firm’s Industrials investments. Mr. Hahn also plays an integral role in advancing the Design-to-Delivery practice area and helps guide the integration of strategy and business operating system expertise across the Firm’s portfolio of investments.
He brings over three decades of experience championing innovation in software, services, new materials, and business models. Mr. Hahn has led private equity-owned and publicly listed firms, and also gained extensive experience working internationally in Asia, Europe, and the Americas, building organizations that have achieved market leadership. Mr. Hahn spent more than a decade at Honeywell where he held a number of senior leadership positions as a Company Officer, including serving as CEO of its Home and Building Technologies business; CEO of its Switzerland-based Honeywell Transportation Systems; and as Vice President of the Performance Materials and Technologies – Fluorine Products business. His customer-focused approach helped drive significant improvements in commercial, financial, and operational performance. Mr. Hahn began his career at Air Products and Chemicals, where he spent nearly 20 years and held a variety of commercial and technical leadership positions in the U.S., Canada, Taiwan, and Malaysia.
He received a B.S. and M.E degree in Material Science and Engineering from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
